There being no further questions or comments the Chairman asked the Committee whether they were ready to accept the Report for consideration with other reports at a later date. The Committee approved of this..
ANY OTHER BUSINESS
The Chairman said that as it was the last meeting which the Honourable D. M. S. would be able to attend, he would like to thank him for the work he had done on the main Committee and as Chairman of the Public Health Sub-Committee. He wished him on behalf of the Committee long life, health and happiness in his new sphere in the Seychelles. This was received with acclamation.
The D. M. S. in his reply said how much he hoped that the work of the Chairman and his experts would result in a newer and brighter Hong Kong worthy of the name of the "jewel of the Pacific" and he wished the Committee all success.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned sine die.
